Lionel 2344 Vintage O New York Central F-3 AA Diesel Locomotive Set VG

Here is a Lionel 2344 Vintage O New York Central F-3 AA Diesel Locomotive Set from 1950-52. The 2344 is considered by many to be the finest of the Postwar-Era NYC F3s. It features the nice detail of the original 2333 (such as screen roof vents and nose grab irons) but also has Magnetraction. Features also include dual motors, a reverse unit, operating lights, operating horns, die-cast metal trucks, and metal wheels and axles. Included is one powered and one non-powered unit.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good. These items show scratches, scrapes, nicks, dents, and spots of paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. These items show spots of rust on the pickups and stirrup steps. Both units have chipped shells and slightly bent stirrup steps. Both units are missing side windows. Both units have dirty/scratched windshields and number boards. The non powered unit might have glue residue on the side that has been painted to match the original paint scheme. The overall appearance of each item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is not included.
